With up to 200 MHz bandwidth and 2 GS/s maximum sample rate, no other colour digital storage oscilloscope offers as much bandwidth and sample rate for the price. The TDS1000B and TDS2000B Series oscilloscopes provide accurate real-time acquisition up to their full bandwidth, the same record length at all time base settings, advanced triggers to isolate signals of interest, and 11 standard automatic measurements on all models. Their Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and waveform add, subtract, and multiply math functions allow you to analyze, characterise and troubleshoot circuits.

The 1000 & 2000 series is an ideal student scope for use in a range of lab applications. The scope familiarises students with Tektronix products and prepares them for using Tektronix scopes in an industrial setting. The interface and menu is easy to use with helpful "autorange" and smart "autoset" features. With built in multiple language user interface and context sensitive help, the scope allows for independent student use and removes the need to purchase manuals.
Students can also use their own USB flash drive to store screen shots, waveform data and setups using the front panel USB. They can easily store and share data for reports without requiring network connectivity The rear USB device port can also be used to easily communicate with other instruments, peripherals or systems using Openchoice and NI SignalExpress TE software. If you own an older 1000 or 2000 series scope, you can enhance it with the use of additional modules. The following are no longer required for the B series which now includes USB host and device ports.
